The Morning Glories

I love travelling around. Especially when it's somewhere near the greeneries. The freshness of the air, the cooling weather and the freedom to move around. It's so fun!

The flowers are also very beautiful! Let's enjoy some beauty that I had taken up during my journey in the south.

It was early in the morning, when the fog were just starting to settle. The morning dew decorates the flower shinningly~

My dad taught me that when taking flower photos, there should be three sticked together in the picture. This way it form the shape of a triangle. I don't really know what's the term called, but I guess it's one of a good photo composition. ^.^

Soft white in the middle of greens. This reminds me of a recent campaign held, "I'm a stand out in life!" campaign held by tiger and nuffnang. ^.^ Come to think of it, I'm actually quite stand out in life. Actually, standing outside of community I belong do. People always think that I'm weird, eccentric and not blending in. But in any circumstances, it doesn't matter as long as I'm aware who I am. ^.^ It's not like they hate me or what...

Zooming in on the flower. Everywhere was wet. It's not like those marshy kind of wet, but it just wet. Maybe because of the morning dew or probably it rained the previous night which I can't remember because I was sleeping like a log. :P

I like gazing flowers. I really enjoy strolling in a flower garden. I remember last time when my dad was taking wedding photos of his colleague in a flower garden right in front of the Malacca's palace in Bandar Hilir. I'm not sure weather it's still there or not, but the area had been sealed up and became a tourist attraction.

I wished the government make more such places. More gardens, more parks. So that people can relax and enjoy; living a healthier lifestyle. Well, I think I have said enough. Time to gaze more flowers. ^.^

After writing so much, I suddenly remembered that I've seen similar photos of flowers from Frankie's blog. Here's the link to there. Nope I did not copied his. He's in the far east Kuching while I'm still in the the southern part of peninsular Malaysia. And I definately din't know he took those picture. Probably mine were even taken earlier than his! :P

I'm not too sure what's this flower. I noticed it along the way to a recreasional park. It's very unique and only found along this place. It grows on a tree in bunches like bunches of Rambutans!

Yeap! We thought it was blooming season at that time. It's still early of the year and rambutans are blooming already?! What more it's yellow!

The trees were all filled up and we were suggesting, since it's nobody's tree, why don't we just stop and pluck some to fill our stomach! ^.^;;

Yeah, here's your yellow rambutan freshly served. You wan some more? It's sweet and juicy you know.

Here's some spider lily. Remember the spider i took in my back to nature adventure? Well, aparantly it had fed enough and wrap itself in a cocoon for a few months. Yes months.

After the few months of hibernation, when spring comes, it turn into a magnificent flower! Just like butterflies. Only that butterflies would suck the honey from flowers but this spider lilies provides juicy honey to feed to insects. It's give back to the communities. ^.^

Here's a bunch of spiders to end the post. More flowers to come if I land on a garden or so~ Maybe I should pay Penang Botanical Garden a visit. Yeah, I will PAY it when my finance is right. >.<" ...

Orange Day Video

You only know Valentine's Day but you seldom heard of White Day. Then you sure won't know what's an orange day. ^.^

I did cover previously about those few celebrations. About girls giving chocolates during Valentines. Guys returned the favour during White Days. And then today, on the 14th of April, both guys and girls confirm their love by exchanging oranges or orange-coloured gifts. Another reason to spend more moneys! If not... watch the video! *grin*

Happy Orange Days.

The Trishawman

Many had came to Melaka before. Many had not too! Melaka which had co-obtained World Heritage Status with Penang in the not-so-long-ago had been flooded by tourists from all over the world. So do you know what's famous in Melaka? Today I'm gonna introduce you to one of our local "delicacies".

I still remember the last time I ride a trishaw was when I was very small that time. I rode with my mum to get over a few blocks and it just cost us like 30sens? But now, to sit on it, you would need to fork out RM5 per seat! No thanks to the commercialized tourist industry. But we also must forgive them right, because they also need to feed a family.

Here's this guy is trying to go further. He's going to ride his Beca to connect both the Unesco-acknowledged historical cities to raise money for charity purposes. The trip will take him about 3 hours making a number of pitstops on the way. This is a historical event as this is the fastest land journey ever planned. A car would usually take about 8 hours to reach Penang from Melaka, a train would also only able to complete such journey 2 hours earlier. However, Frankie is going to complete it less than a quarter of the time! The secret?

He's using this big Thrisaw!!!

Disclaimer:
This post is meant for humour. However the actual event is going to be held on the 6th of June. Do support the event for charity purpose and visit http://www.thetrishawman.com/ for more info. ^.^

I'm being atttacked by an Tripod Alien

One fine day while I was busy blogging with my laptop and watching anime, suddenly a mail just drop by our house. It came in rectangular white box that looks like this.

I was curious so I picked it up. It was quite light. I turn it around trying to figure out what could it be. But there's no indication what the content would be. It does looks like a tube containing antrax. Or a small nuke. But I definately don't have the tools or machine to check for bioharzard materials.

Figuring that I don't have much enemy who would hate me till they would care to send such lethal stuffs (or the ability to obtain such materials), I decided to brave myself and open it up. Inside contains a thin black bag with a strap. I can felt inside they are some something metalic. But it's light.

I open up the bag and took out something like this. It looks like a miniature Hubo Telescope landed on earth, prepacked and mailed to my house. I was wondering why on earth somebody send me a satellite when even we don't watch astro had been cut off. Is this the new gadget that connect to the internet with high bandwidth? I ponder...

Suddenly, the thing started to move. I jumped up and stand straight right in front of me. It looks like it had three feet and a head. The legs opened up in three ways and the thing stand still. It seems like it's receiving some signals out from the room, from my house, out of nowhere. At this time I was already worried. What is happening. Did somebody made a robot and send it to assassinate me?

While I was thinking, the thing started to move again. This time the leg grew taller. It became 2 section. It seems like thinner legs had grown out from the initial ones.

It continue to grow some more from 2 section became 3 sections. The legs getting thinner and thineer.

Finally it grew this tall. As tall as the level of my chest. It then stopped. There were some beeping sounds caming from it. But nothing happend for awhile.

After the beeping sound end, it grew again. This time it's not the leg but the head part. It seems like this thingy got a long neck! It seems like it sensor had detected that its current size is still shorter than me and grew its neck to compensate iit. It tried to reach above my head but at last it can only strech up to my shoulder level.

I was standing there grinning. Thinking that "so you can grow that fast. But no matter how you still can't grow taller than me". Then all of a sudden, the head started to squek. And there's a rattling sound follow. Bullets was flying everywhere the next minute. I quickly take cover.

When I jump to the side, the head also followed. It's actually aiming at me. I ran up and down evading the bullets. It was stunning that I could do all the summer sault just like Jackie Chan jumping here and there. For a few times the bullets nearly grazed me but I was lucky.

Finally, I end up on top of that thing. The thing couldn't turn its head up on me and it seems like it had finished its ammos. I thought I was finally save and relieved.

But instead, the thing threw a part of its head off. It landed on the floor. On closer look, there seems to be a screw key turning. I only there are only a few things in this world that have this screw key. One, you can find this in your normal daily alarm clock where you have to tighten the spring in order for it to function. Two, it's a time bomb!

Oh my god! I'm sure this is definately not an alarm clock. So it must be a time bomb. When I over turn it, the screw is unwinding and there's little time left. My room's gonna blow up! What should I do? Suddenly, Bugs Bunny came to my mind. I remember watching the looney toons cartoon whereby Bugs will always throw back the bomb that he was thrown at.

And so I did. I tell the thing. "Eat Sheet, You Bouzou!" Stucking the time bomb right back at it.

The thing squeek and the continue to buzz. There was air bubble coming out from its fuel tank.

And finally, the whole thing go bust! Kaboom! And I thought, this is finally over. Yeah finally defeated some crazy thing that invaded my house.

How did I know, suddenly something black popped out from it. It was a miniature tripod! This time it walks! And it was squeking and walking towards me like and octopus who was fished out of sea running to attack its captor.

"You got Owned! Arghhhh!!!!!"

Bump! Ouch! What hit my head? >.<" As I opened my eyes... It was...

Elixir of Longevity

Once upon a time, there was one ruler who had successfully conquered China and enthroned himself Emperor of China. However, he knew that he couldn't live long. And so he sent one of his best warrior to the furthest east to find the Elixir for Longevity (长生不老药).

Unfortunately, his warrior never came back with the Elixir. Instead, the people that went on the mission, landed on a few remote island and stayed there for the rest of their live, which we know it today as the land of the rising sun--Japan.

But with today's technology, we don't need to search high and low to find this Elixir. Today, we can buy them from online stores, shops and maybe even in our Pasar Malam (Night Market). Today, we can feel young again! If only Emperor Qin get to live to see this:

Always got impressed with such commercial videos. Lolx. Enjoy~

Life as an Auditor

A scene at work during the weekends.

Been working as in Deloitte for 4 months now, going in to the fifth. It's getting harder and harder to keep this blog posted and updated since the peak periods. Most of the post are being scheduled earlier for posting. Some of the post are even not that original anymore. Nevertheless, it's still enjoying to blog. ^.^

Everyone is so busy working...

Many who had not seen me for quite a long time might want to ask how have I been doing. How's my work? I would say, Work's like Marriage. Why so? Well, When you first start work, it's just like honey moon. You are so excited, there's alot of things to try and it's a new environment. I went in during a non-peak period whereby there wasn't much work and we were sent for trainings. It was like back to school again.

But life's after that wasn't that rosy anymore. Work getting piled up, deadlines getting shorter and shorter and sleeps getting lesser and lesser. It's just like you have your newborn. You have to take care of your baby everytime. Then you won't get enough sleep because you have to stay up at night to feed her...

Your main activity for your life is:
1. wake up
2. eat & shit
3. work
4. eat & shit again
5. back to work
6. eat & shit some more
7. continue your work
8. sleep
9. repeat step 1 to 8 again everyday
and occassionally, probably you get to do
10. talk craps. But the rest, the life cycle still goes on...

But things are not all that bad. Sometimes at the end of the day, you get to look back at your accomplishment. For which, I've yet to reach that state yet though. Nevertheless, there's always ups and downs in our life. I just wish that when I reach my retirement age, I would have at least a secured pension.. But with this current economy and current market crisis, I think I would end up penniless. So much for life... Lolx. ^.^

A thank you note from our senior.

Lesson in Life

In 1923, who was:
1. President of the largest steel company?
2. President of the largest gas company?
3. President of the New York Stock Exchange?
4. Greatest wheat speculator?
5. President of the Bank of International Settlement?
6. Great Bear of Wall Street?
These men were considered some of the worlds most successful of their day. Now, 80 years later, the history book asks us, if we know what ultimately became of them.

The answers:
1. The president of the largest steel company, Charles Schwab, died a pauper.
2. The president of the largest gas company, Edward Hopson, went insane.
3. The president of the NYSE, Richard Whitney, was released from prison to die at home.
4. The greatest wheat speculator, Arthur Cooger, died abroad, penniless.
5. The president of the Bank of International Settlement, shot himself.
6. The Great Bear of Wall Street, Cosabee Livermore, also committed suicide.

However, in that same year, 1923, the PGA Champion and the winner of the most important golf tournament, the US Open, was Gene Sarazen.

What became of him? He played golf until he was 92, died in 1999 at the age of 95. He was financially secure at the time of his death.

The moral:
Screw work. Play golf.

Cats Play

Lately 've been surfing the website alot. There's alot of interesting stuffs from DannyChoo.com and facebook. ^.^

During my younger years, my dad usually record cartoons for me. Cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Transformers, Bugs Bunny (Looney Tune), Woody Woodpecker, Mickey Mouse and Friends, Chip & Dale and many more! I still remember, every weekdays 5.30pm I would definitely switch on RTM1. For Saturday and Sunday, the house TV will definately be on from 8.00am to 12.00pm, 4 hours non-stop cartoon marathon. Astro was not out yet at that time and we don't have 3D animations like now. But still, cartoons are fun! ^.^

But now! Now is different, if you still remember Thundercats... It's the movie trailer ! And it's coming this Summer (June)...

...NOT!

Now I still watch cartoons alot. But most of them are Japanese Animations. Will review more of those that I've watched and watching. ^.^ Till then, Thunder! Thunder! Thunder! Thundercats!

A Joke: The Famous Chinese Detective

Plucked this joke from Jokes4all.net. Kinda funny. Enjoy~

A man suspected his wife was seeing another man, so he hired the famous Chinese detective, Chen Lee, to watch and report any activities while he was gone.

A few days later, he received this report:

Most honorable sir,
You leave house.
I watch house.
He come to house.
I watch.
He and she leave house.
I follow.
He and she go in hotel.
I climb tree.
I look in window.
He kiss she.
She kiss he.
He strip she.
She strip he.
He play with she.
She play with he.
I play with me.
I fall off tree.
I not see.

No fee, Chen Lee.
