One Year Old, Roadblogg!

It's the last day of February. The day when my mind hit a blockade that I have nothing else better to do. The day when this blog hit its first post!

I'm still not satisfied with the templates. It loads too slow. Will try to improve it better when I got the time. Besides that, since I had sold off my camera, post would be focus less on photos but more on animes. ^.^ But I still have some inventories left unpost will keep update soon.

Will also sign up for Pay Per Post later when I got my credit card. Was hoping that I could earn some money from my posts. Had some directions with the blog, just not doing enough to generate money. ^.^;;

It's been one year now, since I first started this blog. Would really hope that I could keep posting and popularize it!

Happy Birthday Roadblogg!

P.S. This post is post number 88. Which means this can bring me good luck?! ^.^

Spread The L.O.V.E.

Yes I know Valentine's Day have long passed gone. And yes, I'm still waiting for my chocolate. >.<" By who? Whoever Cares... ^.^;; Hijacked these famous quotes from Businesspundit when I was browsing some old articles which I had not read in my Feed Reader. It seems like everybody have their own say about love.

  1. “You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.” -Sam Keen
  2. “Love is a snowmobile racing across the tundra and then suddenly it flips over, pinning you underneath. At night, the ice weasels come.” -Matt Groening
  3. “Nobody will ever win the battle of the sexes. There’s too much fraternizing with the enemy.” -Henry Kissinger
  4. “Love is an electric blanket with somebody else in control of the switch.” -Cathy Carlyle
  5. “You can’t buy love, but you can pay heavily for it.” -Henny Youngman
  6. “One should always be in love. That is the reason one should never marry.” -Oscar Wilde
  7. “Behind every successful man is a woman, behind her is his wife.” -Groucho Marx
  8. “Today is Valentine’s Day. Or, as men like to call it, Extortion day.” -Jay Leno
  9. “Valentine’s Day is when a lot of married men are reminded what a poor shot Cupid really is."-Unknown
  10. “What the world really needs is more love and less paper work.” -Pearl Bailey
  11. “We don’t believe in rheumatism and true love until after the first attack.” -Marie Ebner Von Eschenbach, Aphorism
  12. “Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love.” -Albert Einstein
  13. “Love may not make the world go round, but I must admit that it makes the ride worthwhile.” -Sean Connery
  14. “Love is much nicer to be in than an automobile accident, a tight girdle, a higher tax bracket, or a holding pattern over Philadelphia.” -Judith Viorst
  15. “It’s not the men in my life that count — it’s the life in my men.” -Mae West
  16. “An archeologist is the best husband any woman can have; the older she gets, the more interested he is in her.” -Agatha Christie
  17. “Love is like an hourglass, with the heart filling up as the brain empties.”-Jules Renard
  18. “Falling in love is so hard on the knees.” -Aerosmith
  19. “Love wouldn’t be blind if the Braille weren’t so damned much fun.” -Anonymous
  20. “Marriage is the triumph of imagination over intelligence. Second marriage is the triumph of hope over experience.” -Samuel Johnson
  21. “If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular?” -Anonymous
  22. The great question, which I have not been able to answer is, “What does a woman want?” -Sigmund Freud
  23. “I was nauseous and tingly all over. I was either in love or I had smallpox!” -Woody Allen
  24. “Love is grand; divorce is a hundred grand.” -Anonymous
  25. “True love comes quietly, without banners or flashing lights. If you hear bells, get your ears checked.” -Erich Segal
The one I like the most is No. 5 and No. 6. V-Day had really became an expensive day. Most retailers nowadays are taking advantage to charge their goods at an UNREASONABLE price. It shows that people only buy presents for their girlfriends during Valentine's Day? ^.^;;

For me, I prefer to present simply anytime by surprising her but not on V-Day. Why? Coz it's just too boring, there's no excitement because everybody is doing the same thing. It's just so monotonous... Don't you think so? ^.^ Give some surprise, and they will remember it very very well.. Kekeke...

But then again, it's not easy to find special presents during normal days. Those unique and rare presents ain't that easy to find during normal days. Usually you can only find it either you went somewhere out of your normal shopping malls or custom made it.

So where do you usually get your presents?

The Forgotten Scene...

Took alot of photos during my new year trip to A'Famosa. Took the fireworks there. With all the works and celebration around, I nearly forgot to post up these photos after those fireworks pictures.

Here are some photos of the scenery of the A'Famosa Hotel. Actually I just found out the hotel part. When I went there usually I would just went straight to the apartment part and missed out the hotel. This time I'm not the one who's driving and just happend my friend turn in to the hotel line.

Well, anyway, enough said. Enjoy the picture and comment. ^.^

Full Metal Alchemist 2 The Next Season

Yeah! FMA2 is coming up in April!

Al had lost his memories but start to study alchemist again. Ed had lost his power but is still finding his way back to their world. Will the brothers meet up again? Ooh~ Can't wait for the next season of Full Metal Alchemist!!

The famous principle of equivalent trade.

We can't make things from nothing.
We must offer something which is of the same equivalent in exchange for another.

If we apply this principle in our daily life, it would means that, if we want something, we have to scarifies something for it. If you want money, you have to earn it. If you want to go a certain place, you have to walk the journey. Things don't just fall from the sky. There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Talking about free... I haven't check out my lottery number yet. Ish when can I strike the million dollar jackpot?! >.<"

Have you spelt L.O.V.E?

It's Valentine's Day! Have you bought flowers? Have you bought gifts? How about chocolates? Get dressed and ask her out for a date!

For those who are planning to propose to her you better do so! For those who want to propose to him instead, fear not. It may be kind of embarrass for a girl to do so, but this is a fair world (what girls usually like to complain about). Women had headed fortune top 500 companies, and even Hillary Clinton wanted to be the first female president of United State. So why can't a girl propose? ^.^

I remembered reading that in Japan, the girls will give chocolate to the guy she had a crush or love on this day. Of course she would not be that obvious giving to the guy. She would prepare a few to distract other people's attention, letting other thought that these chocolates are just a courtesy of appreciation for the guys who had helped them. But make a very special one for that very special person. The guy on the other hand would "repay" back if he's interested in the girl on the 14th of March which is also known as white day with something more expensive.

I heard the from my colleague that the story is different in Taiwan whereby the guy will give during Red Day, and get his return if his lucky on white day.

But for people like me, who's not so popular, we just have to work hard and pray for the best... ^.^;; Or, the alternative, is to celebrate Black Day. But my dear friends, let's look at the bright side, we still can give valentine present right? ;-) Cheers!

Here's a Valentine Wallpaper for download.

Happy Valentines Day!

River Lantern Festival

Today is Chap Goh Mei. The 15th day of Chinese New Year and it's also the last day of our celebration day. Apparantly, I would be on field job in client's place somewhere very far away from town. Yes I'd pre-written this post before I left for work.

There's nothing much I can do except work even though it's Chap Goh Mei. The 15th Lunar Day is also the Chinese's Valentine Day. Single girls will throw orange into the river and be scooped up by single guys. (At least the story is somewhat like that.) I'm not really sure about the actual ceremony. For what I know, I'm not getting any orang from Melaka River this Chap Goh Mei. ^.^;;

Talking about river, been to Melaka River Mouth where they had spend some millions or ringgit just to decorate the place in occassion to celebrate Chinese New Year. Caught some photos of it. Enjoy~

Overall, I would say the place wasn't really well design. They don't really have the Chinese New Year Theme or an objective. Those lanterns were placed there for the sake of placing there. It's more like they wanted to portray the small Melaka in that small dataran area, but suddenly a Dragon beast came out of nowhere. But no doubt, the dragon is the main attraction there that capture the attention of all passerby.

They say that the Melaka Government is very rich. For me, I would say that they are short in their plannings. No doubt, Melaka had attain World Heritage Recognition, achieved city status, and many other developments. But they don't really have a good city planners. Roads are still narrows, housing development just mushroomed anywhere you like without proper planning, mall left empty, damn many traffic lights along one lane to name a few. There are still alot of mismanagement. The State government have long way to go. Maybe I should write a post on underdevelopment and overdevelopment of Melaka one day.

Till then~ 捞柑啰!

Chinese New Year Lunch with Client

Was on field in clients place during the last few days before Chinese New Year. Our client was so kind to invite us to their Chinese New Year Celebration Lunch. They have it in their factory, squeezing about 6 - 8 tables along the corridor accommodating about 120 people inside. Lucky the place is fully air-cond, and it's a very cold one too!

All wear reds

Everybody is so excited

The dishes is your "normal" Chinse New Year celebration dishes, where you have a cold dish, sharkfin, prawns, chickens, duck, etcs. Can't really remember all the dishes name. What i'm more interested to tell you here is the programs prepared by their club committee!

You know they have what?! A God of Fortune!

God of Fortune distribute Ang Pau!

Yam Seng with Chai Shen

Take a photo with our client

Another photo for rememberance.

Apparantly inside the Ang Pau has no money inside, instead it contains a lucky draw number. My number was 8837. Unfortunately, the drawn number just missed my number. Haiz.. 8836 and 8838 was drawn but not my number. >.<" I guess, this year I don't have much luck. Just have to continue work hard...

Will be celebrating the Chinese New Year for 15 days till 9th of February. But I've already started work on day 4. Wish all of you again a Happy & Prosperous Chinese New Year!!!
