I'm in Deloitte

To some of my friends, yes the last time you hear about me I was in H.L.Lim. But now I've moved on. I'm in Deloitte Melaka now. Wow! Big 4! You would say. But don't get too excited yet! With bigger company comes bigger responsible no? ^.^

But really can finally can join one of the BIG 4 accounting firm in the world. And yes, my job is still the same. I am still an auditor. The young auditor is starting to take on the big bullies (Bigger corporate companies, MNCs + PLCs). <*Grins*>

Till now, this post is just an introductory page, will update more on my trip to the training in HQ Damansara Uptown and working experiences. ^.^ Yosh! Gambateh Joseph-kun! Oh yeah, and to those Deloitte colleagues that happend to dropby my blog, nice meeting you guys and girls! Let's work alittle bit harder! <*Grin*>

An afternoon with Wish~

On one fine day, was too bored. So asked Wish out for a cup of coffee. But she let me waited for two hours because she went out with her friend to take "something" even though her friend call her later. :P The moral of the story, if you are asking some popular people out, be prepare to wait. ^.^ :P

Anyway back to the story, we dropped by Kow Loon Ice House since it's the nearest place where I drop my brother and his gang in MP and we hadn't tried the place yet before. The place is somewhat your everyday "old town coffee shop" + "ice house cafe". The first part of the menu list the various types of cofee, and the second part is the different types of ice tea and fruit juices. As for food, they have the normal laksa, nasi lemak, curry rice,etcs and breads for snacks.

The Menu

The interior's theme is brown-black-green in colour. More of the oriental design but they don't opt for those white stone slabs that you see in Old Town or Old Taste. Their table is made of solid wood. Lucky we choose the cushioned seats. Otherwise my butt should be hard -.-"... The designs are simple. Outside looking out, you have those kind of kampung wooden house feel whereby the fenced is made of solid wood.

Since it's 4 something going to 5pm at that time, nearly our dinner time, we din't plan to order food. Then I saw this menu was so special which you don't usually get to try in other kopitiam. Curry Bread! I ordered the white coffee while Wish ordered the mango coffee? Something like that... Heard it was nice. The curry bread came out with a bowl of curry and 3 slices of toasted bread which I thought it's something like the curry wrapped inside the bread. But the curry taste really fragrance!

Sand-WHICH Decisions...

Was in Amcorp Mall a few weeks back to fetch my sis back home. On the way back, we drop by the Subway for dinner. There, I've made the toughest decision to eat Sandwich. Never in my life had I taken so much time and made so many decisions just to eat a sandwich!

The first decision was, the flavour of your sandwich. Well, anybody would possibly think that's normal since you need to choose what you would like to eat. After you ordered, the person in charge would straight away make your order.

However, it wasn't like this in Subway. When I've finally made ordered the Chicken-Ham Sandwich after choosing from a list of varieties of flavour, the girl who served me look at me and asked, "Do you want a foot long or regular?" Okay it was dinner and I'm eating bread. I was wondering how much should I fill my stomach. And then I was thinking how big is a foot? The girl later showed me a drawing which have the actual size of the bread and I was "Oh okay. Make it regular."

And when I thought, finally I can wait for my bread, the girl asked "So what Sir, what kind of salad do you like?" She showed me a range of different kinds of vegetables from cucumber to lettuce to cabbages.. I was like er.. do I still have to squeeze my brain to think of what vegetables I should put in? Not knowing which vegetables to put in, I finally decided, just put everything in. After all, vegetables are good for health ain't it? ;-)

Then come the choice of toppings. >.<" There's mustard, tomatoes sauce, chili sauce, mayonnaise, black pepper and dunno-what-else. Considering that I'm having chicken and ham, I couldn't decide chili sauce and black pepper whichever that could satiates my hunger for spiciness. Tomatoes sauce is out of the question. I don't take it anymore. Mustard is something that I don't often try. In fact only after tasting the yellow sauce only I know that's Mustard. The vegetables sure will go along with the mayonnaise.

After so many decisions, finally, I get to enjoy my dinner~
